fantastic, helpful and very nice people

Babis and his father were so nice and helpful ! Also the room was very clean and well equiped. The swimming pool is a plus and the breakfast was complete. The distance to Fira is not so long, you need to walk 15 minutes. The free transport to airport on the day of departure is much appreciated.

One of the best hotels I ever been. The room was big, with a nice view, refrigerator, air conditioner, tv and a great bathroom. The pool is amazing. The hotel is closed to Fira and you can reach every point of the island very easy with a rental vehicle or a the public bus. The owners are just great. They helped me to rent a car for only 45 euros per day (no deposit needed) and they offered to help me book a boat trip. Also they offer free transportation to the airport in the day of the departure. In the last day after check out they can keep your luggage and they allowed you to spend the remaining day at the pool or you can go visit the island (they provide you with shower and towels before of the departure at the airport). In one word: Great!

Great localisation near to bus stop, restaurants,bakery. 15min on foot to Thira. After our arriving the owner gave us a drink ( it was great after a long travel) later he gave us the map of the Santorini and explained everything. The room has been cleaned up every day. There was air-condition.The swimming pool clear and nice. Transport to the airport was very useful
I recommend this hotel to everyone.

It’s great value for money , the owner is very helpful we check out at 11 am and our flight was at 6:40 pm he told us to stay in the pool area and drive us to the airport after check out and he also helped in renting a scooter

Family friendly owners looking to make your stay comfortable. Very clean and well kept hotel. Someone always at fron desk whenever we needed. Always greeted with a friendly smile. They could never do enough for you.

The airport it's close to hotel just 5/6 km, the family managers of the hotel are kind and provide an excellent service, always available to satisfy every need. The breakfast is super! All room are confortable and cleaned.

This place exceeded our expectations! Very good value for the area, and it was only about 15 minutes walk to Fira bus station, with other bus stops much closer if heading to the beach. Although the decor of the hotel is a bit dated, this didn't matter as the room had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean.
The best bit was the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were welcomed with a cold drink, and given some recommendations for the island, and told that they could help us book stuff. Moreover, they allowed us to store our luggage on our last day, as well us letting us use the communal facilities - pool, lounge, bathrooms - until we needed to leave for the airport in the evening. The hotel also drove us to the airport free of charge, as they offer free transfer to airport or port on check out day which was so helpful and easy to organise.

Babis and his father Vasili are exceptional. Their hotel is also exceptional. If you were paying $900 per night you could say maybe the beds could be better.... but for the low rates that Babis charges there is nothing anyone could complain about. the beds are ok they are not terrible, but they are not memory foam mattresses still we slept just fine. Fira was a 20 min walk and there are plenty of places to grab snacks nearby. we went to the bakery next door and to YOLO 500m away. again the price for what you are getting is incredible. there is a pool open till 9pm. Babis also helped get me a rental car when everyone i called online had no cars for me and he got the car for $50 a day high season 2022. If you are considering staying there.... especially for families with kids.... do it.... you won't regret it.

This place was incredible!!! The owners were the biggest stand out and I will be recommending Babis to everyone I know. Babis and his dad were the most incredible hosts and made us feel so comfortable. Very informative and generous. We love you guys :)

Really enjoyed my stay. Everything was really clean including the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s only a two minute walk to bus stops and quad bike/scooter rental, making it very easy to get around.

Me and my two friends had a really lovely stay at Babis during our summer vacation. The owners were beyond friendly, made us feel welcome and were really helpful with everything we needed to know. The room was nice and clean, good breakfast, nice pool area and they offer a free transfer to and from the hotel. Would definitely recommend this stay to everyone visiting Santorini !! :)

The family run hotel has a very welcoming staff.
Grandpa, his son and his son are super nice and guide you with everything.
They booked our ride from Port to the hotel and the driver came on time to pick up.
Although we paid for it. It was quite convenient.
The grandpa dropped us back to port for free while leaving. which is a very nice gesture from them

Everyone is extremely nice and make you feel at home!
Great location, not far from Fira, and very convenient price.
Plenty of moped rentals and small Cafes nearby.
If you’re looking to be treated well, save some money on stay, and not necessarily looking for luxury, this is the way to go!

the staff went above and beyond to help with trips, getting to know the island etc and the pool and hotel was immaculate, our room was cleaned with fresh towels and sheets every day and the location was great there’s a bus stop right outside and only a 20 min walk in to Fira. Excellent value for money!!

Its a family run hotel. Mr.Babis is really friendly. The facilities are not the best but good enough for the price.
The Transfer service was also excellent!

The family running the hotel are very hospitable. Their main objective is for their guest to enjoy Santorini rather than to earn money. Upon arrival to the hotel, I was asked to sit down on the sofa in the lobby. Like a boss, I was serve a glass of orange juice, while enjoying the juice, Mr Babis with a map in hand gave me a detailed brief of Santorini and the premises of the hotel (the bus stop and supermarket). He even carry my suitcase up to my room. However, contrary to what other reviewers said, Airport/Ferry transfers (to and from) are not free. Though the price quoted by Mr Babis is very reasonable.

Bus stop is close by. Apart from few walking distance stores, everything else is one or two buses away.
Advice:reach out to him for transfers. You get a better price than taxis.

Mr Babis and his family welcomed us into their family run hotel with warmth and generosity. We had a wonderful week where they were very accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend The Babis Hotel. It’s location was ideal for us as well.

The room was extremely comfortable and it was lovely to come back every day to find my room meticulously cleaned. The hotel is a family business, and the owner and his sons take pains to make sure everything is great. It's just a 15 min walk to Thera, and surrounded by places to eat or get a great coffee. I couldn't have asked for better accommodation in Santorini.

Close to Chora, nice coffee shops a short walk away, quiet, clean, close to a bus stop, everything is very convenient, the studio is huge, there are cooking facilities, the family is lovely.

Loved that you could opt to include breakfast. Lovely pool area. Staff were so accomodating and hospitable. Organised transfers for me, showed me where to go, organised quad bike hire for me. They went above and beyond. Location was also fantastic. A short 10 minute walk from Fira. There was also a bus stop right out the front to go to town that way.

I loved everything about my stay at hotel Babis. The staff was so sweet and made me and my friend feel safe being in a foreign country. We loved the location and the staff made sure to keep our rooms clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Babis, the owner and his father demonstrated to us the Greek hospitality. The hotel is open 24/7, you can have a breakfast there (7€/pax), it's located 15 minutes walking from the main bus station on Fira from where you can take a bus to any other village on Santorini (1.60€/pax). There is also an amazing swimming pool with a few spots to lay down. You can also order the airport transfer for 20€ (we did it on the arrival date as our flight landed after midnight).
100 % recommendable (the price per night is amazing and we had a private bathroom and the terrace too!) and definitely we will be back!!!

Everything from the beginning babis was welcoming with a drink on arrival. room was ready before check in time. gave us information about island. Room was clean, pool was lovely, breakfast available for extra cost, coffee and drinks from bar can be purchased anytime. Shops and restaurants in short walking distance, fira only a 10minute walk. easy access to buses that go to main places on island. when arriving back to hotel late, polite gentlemen always at the door waiting and opening to greet us back, felt very safe. will stay here again if ever in Santorini. babis even gave us a lift to fira when leaving with our bags to get the bus to the port

The owner is very helpful and friendly. We organised our transfer from the airport with him too and it was very good. The hotel is maybe a 20 minute walk from the center of Thira but there is a bus stop nearby that can shorten the trip. There are parking spaces in front for anyone who rents a bike or quad. All in all, great value for money and I would definately recommend to anyone.

The structure is very basic but the value for money is exceptional. Bright and spacious rooms with a simple and small bathroom. Wonderful pool with shower area, towels, tables, umbrellas.The added value of the structure is the presence of Babis that solves every problem!
Convenient bus stop to get around without a car. However, the hotel is only a ten minute walk from Fira.

The location allows you to walk to Fira, and with services very close. Very hospitable staff and the room was bigger than what you appreciate in the photos. Also there is air conditioning which is a plus.

Have just arrived at hotel, got a lovely complimentary orange juice on arrival. Got room changed to ground floor as I have a fractured spine, room is very spacious and the terrace outside the room is amazing and very big. This is a family run hotel and the two people we have seen couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely Greek hospitality

We have had extensive travels in our lifetime. Santorini was beautiful topped off by the warm welcome from all at Hotel Babies. Babis and his Father and wife could not do enough for us, From airport transfers, lifts up and down to Fira ,Organising rental cars and taxis. Teas , Coffees and cake, water every day and our rooms were a little dated but spotless and cleaned every day with fresh towels and sheets. You will never meet Hosts like them. Lovely people we wish them a great season.

The hotel arranged airport pick up and port shuttle services for free, which is super convenient for the guests. Even if you arrive on midnight flight, you don’t have to panic. The room is spacious. We have a big terrace. The staff are very kind. Super location, a few minutes walk to supermarket and bus stop. Around 20 minutes to Fira.

The hotel provided free port transfer, which was very convenient for us. It's about 10-15 minutes walk to Fira bus station. The room was clean and bigger than we've expected. There's also a swimming pool, which is very relaxing after a hot day out sightseeing. The family running the hotel was energetic and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

This family owned hotel goes out of their way to please every guest!! Shuttles to airport or ports.... and a delicious breakfast daily for only $5 euro.

The owners are extremely helpful and they try to help you as much as they can. The location is 10 minutes away from the bus station. At the bus station, you can find buses that will take you anywhere you want to go.

This family-run hotel is well located, just 15 minutes walking to Fira and there are plenty shops, bakeries and restaurants around. The room was confortable and the balcony is very handy. The swimming pool area is great. The staff is nice and helpful.
